Tag Heuer Watches

20 year old Edouard Heuer founded Heuer in 1860 in Switzerland and after a number of name changes, became TAG Heuer (pronounced Tahg Hoy â€“er) in 1985. In 1964, TAG Heuer paid tribute to the legendary car rally of the 1950's - the Carrera Panamericana - by releasing the Carrera. The Carrera is a men's chronograph with a distinctive dial and remains one of TAG Heuer's most popular luxury watches to this day. The Carrera was followed in 1969 by TAG Heuer's iconic watch - the Monaco.

The Monaco featured the first ever water resistant square watch case and the first chronograph movement with a micro-rotor. Steve McQueen immortalised the Monaco by wearing it in his 1971 movie, Le Mans. TAG Heuer's current Monaco range includes a chronograph model based on the original Monaco as well as variations without chronograph functions for both men and women and the Monaco 69 which is a double sided watch that can be flipped to show an analog or digital face. Other current TAG Heuer luxury watch collections are the Link, Aquaracer, Calibre and the Golf watch.
